ND Game and Fish announced Monday that North Dakota is offering over 1,100 additional deer hunting licenses for 2025 across four units. The first round opens August 13th at 8 a.m. Central time on a first-come, first-served basis through gf.nd.gov for residents and nonresidents who haven’t received lottery or landowner licenses.

A second opportunity starts August 20th at 8 a.m. for unlimited “concurrent season” licenses that work across archery, gun, and muzzleloader seasons with appropriate weapons. Youth under 14 get archery-only concurrent licenses.

All concurrent licenses specify antlerless deer types and restrict hunters to their assigned unit. This gives hunters multiple chances to secure tags while managing deer populations statewide.
