Perhaps one of the most recognizable names in the Sports Entertainment, and around the world, Hulk Hogan also known as Terry Bollea has passed away at the age of 71.
Hogan was pronounced dead at a hospital in Florida after police and EMT officials responded to a call of a patient dealing with Cardiac Arrest in his home.
Hogan, was a driving force in the popularity of professional wrestling and the WWE(F) during the 70’s and 80’s becoming a household name after iconic moments throughout his career including being the vitamin eating, prayer saying leader of “HULKAMANIA”, to slamming and defeating Andre the Giant in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania III, or his famous heel turn that traded in the trademark scarlet red and yellow, for black and white when he became a member of the N.W.O. (The New World Order).
Hogan was a 12 time World Champion for both the WWE and WCW, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005, and is often debated as a “Mount Rushmore”-like figure when it comes to the overall history of the WWE and Sports Entertainment.
The WWE was the first to break the news on one of its most polarizing and important faces in company history.
