Motorists wanting North Dakota’s specialty ‘blackout’ license plates will have an opportunity to purchase them beginning this Friday. There has been positive feedback to the new design that has a black background and white lettering.
There is an extra $25-per-year fee, with the funds going towards road construction and maintenance.
The Legislature and Governor Armstrong approved the design earlier this year.
