Jamestown Water Main Replacement Project to Continue

Jamestown’s water main replacement project continues Wednesday, August 6th, creating traffic impacts expected to last three to four weeks.

First Avenue South will have lane reductions from 8th Street South to the West Business Loop. The west side of the 9th Street Southwest and 1st Avenue South intersection will be closed.

Tenth Street Southeast will have lane impacts from 1st Avenue South to 3rd Avenue Southeast. The north side of the 2nd Avenue Southeast and 10th Street Southeast intersection will close, with intermittent left-turn restrictions during work hours.

Motorists should use caution and consider alternate routes during construction.
