The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the motorcyclist killed in Saturday’s crash at Broadway and 29th Avenue North in Fargo. Alex Frank, 31, of Fargo, was riding a 2022 Yamaha motorcycle south on Broadway at high speed when he ran a red light around 1:55 PM.
Frank struck the passenger side of a 2005 Toyota Corolla driven by 59-year-old Rebecca Radeck of Fargo, who was entering the intersection on a green light heading west on 29th Avenue North. Frank was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the motorcycle.
He was transported to Sanford Hospital where he died from his injuries. Radeck, who was wearing her seatbelt, was not injured. The Highway Patrol continues investigating the crash.
