North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring announced the release of three new webisodes in the original Fresh from North Dakota series, highlighting the state’s specialty crops.
One episode is available now, with two more scheduled for release each Wednesday through Aug. 20. The series, funded by USDA’s Specialty Crop Block Grant Program, partners with local food personalities to showcase recipes made with locally sourced ingredients.
Viewers can pick up a packet of all featured recipes at participating farmers markets or request one online. Goehring said the series celebrates both the state’s agricultural abundance and the dedication of its producers.
