Three Men Sentenced To Felonies in Jamestown’s Southeast Judicial Court

The Southeast Judicial District Court in Jamestown sentenced three men on felony charges on Friday, September 12th.

Prosecutors say 37-year-old Curtis James Anderson pleaded guilty to assaulting a correctional officer and to terrorizing. Court documents show the terrorizing charge came from June 30, when Anderson threatened to kill someone. The assault happened July 16 at the Stutsman County Correctional Center. He was sentenced to 120 days in jail, with credit for time served, plus one year of supervised probation.

The court also sentenced two men for failing to register as sex offenders.

51-year-old Richard Henry Johnson admitted he failed to report a Facebook account on registration forms May 2 and May 22. The judge gave Richard Johnson 90 days in jail, credit for time served, and one year probation.

41-year-old Jesse Owens Johnson was convicted of the same violation from May 2.  Jesse Johnson also received 90 days, credit for time served, and one year probation.
