Not much of a change this week in AA High School Football, MOST teams in the Top 5 of the poll last week went on to win, but there have been some shifts, and one team being ousted from the Top 5.
The Class AA Poll goes as shown:
- Minot North
- Kindred
- Grand Forks Central
- Devils Lake
- Central Cass
Also receiving votes in the poll was; Grand Forks Red River, and Watford City.
Minot North and Kindred walked to easy wins over their Week 3 opponents, and in regards to that also knocked Grand Forks Red River out of the top 5 with the Sentinels steamrolling the Roughriders 45-14. The tie between Devils Lake and Central Cass was settled heading into this week after Devils Lake defeated a Dickinson team who was sniffing a spot in the Top 5 last week, while Central Cass took care of Jamestown, with the Blue Jays missing their starting quarterback.
One team to keep an eye on not named Minot North and Kindred in AA, is Grand Forks Central, Central has started off the season on a very high note, defeating (at the time) #5 St. Mary’s, winning on the road at Jamestown, and laying the smackdown against Dickinson last week while averaging a solid 35 points per game. Can Central become the team to ruin the assumed collision course for Minot North and Kindred? We will certainly see!
