Gas prices in North Dakota are holding fairly steady this week.
AAA says the state average for regular unleaded is $2.93 per gallon. That’s the same as last week, up three cents from a month ago, and down about 22 cents compared to this time last year. Diesel in North Dakota is averaging $3.46, up a few cents from last month.
Here in Jamestown and Stutsman County, most stations are between $2.85 and just over $3.00. Fargo-Moorhead has the lowest prices in the state at about $2.77. Minot has some of the highest, close to $2.99. Diesel in Grand Forks is among the highest, at roughly $3.55.
Nationally, regular gasoline is averaging $3.20. That’s down more than 20 cents from a month ago and slightly cheaper than a year ago. Diesel across the country is averaging $3.70, which is also down from a month ago.
