Class A High School Football Poll Released! (Week 4)

By Ryan King Sep 18, 2025 | 9:24 AM

After a wild Friday in Class A, an expected shakeup has happened in the Polls heading into this week. EEK took a loss on the road in a low scoring game, Dickinson Trinity would also take a loss on the road to effect their ranking too, lets take a look at the new poll as we get closer to Friday.

The Class A Poll goes as shown:

  1. Langdon Area/Munich (-)
  2. Velva-Garrison/Drake-Anamoose (+2)
  3. Killdeer (+3)
  4. Park River Area (+1)
  5. Ellendale/Edgeley-Kulm (-3)

Also receiving votes in the poll was; Dickinson Trinity, Bottineau, Southern McLean, Hillsboro-Central Valley, Des Lacs-Burlington.

A shakeup indeed! Langdon stays as expected, but after EEK’s loss on Friday they drop down to #5, Killdeer makes a giant leap from outside of the standings last week, to the #3 spot after defeating former #3 Dickinson Trinity last week. And as expected, Velva has also climbed their way back into the #2 spot after falling to #4 when they started the season at #1. Langdon has been impressive so far this season, but will have Velva breathing down their necks as the weeks go by in Class A.

Most teams in the Top 5 of this weeks poll will have some pretty favorable matchups heading into Week 4, but again, Velva is tasked with having to face another hungry team trying to crack into the Top 5 of the class with Des Lacs-Burlington, who received votes in this weeks poll. Will we have another shakeup this week?
