A shooting tied to an armed robbery in south Fargo last night left one man shot and two suspects still at large.

Police responded around 7:25 p.m. to a home in the 1400 block of First Avenue South, where a resident was shot inside the house. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening wounds.

Authorities say two men — 24-year-old Branden Poitra and 35-year-old Dennis Salinas Jr. — fled the scene in a dark four-door sedan driven by a third individual. All parties are considered armed and dangerous.

The motive and the relationship between the suspects and victim remain unclear. As of this morning, the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
