Another country has signed its intent to purchase agriculture goods from the United States. The country of Taiwan is pledging to purchase $10 Billion dollars of products over a four-year period.

The Taiwan trade delegation signed the letter of intent on Wednesday as farmers are facing potential crisis with concerning prices and moving product in the midst of the ongoing trade war and negotiations.

North Dakota Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak praised the move saying it’s a big win for her state, saying North Dakota produces some of the best high-quality products in the world, and Taiwan’s commitment will be a great move for soybean, corn, and wheat growers.

The agreement raises Taiwan’s current purchases by 25%, increasing from $2 Billion a year to $2.5 Billion a year annually.
