Despite what some people think, you don’t have to be born a leader to make an impact on others’ lives. Leadership is character-driven, and you can learn the principles of this at an event at UJ.
The University of Jamestown hosts Leadertown 2025 Thursday, September 25th, a regional leadership summit featuring New York Times columnist and bestselling author David Brooks as the keynote speaker. Brooks will present “How to Know a Person: Bringing Humanity Back from the Brink” at 6:30 p.m. at Harold Newman Arena. The day-long conference includes workshops on character-driven leadership, sessions with speakers Emily Ford and Jake Havron, plus Emmanuel and Tracie Ohonme from Samaritan’s Feet. The event is presented by the university’s Unruh School of Character in Leadership and targets students, alumni, and community members across the region. Registration and full schedule information is available at leadertown.uj.edu.
