The 21st Annual Local Foods Conference will take place Oct. 16–18 in Carrington, ND.
Hosted by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture (NDDA) and the North Dakota Farmers Market and Growers Association (NDFMGA), this year’s theme is “Building Resilience in a Vibrant Ecosystem.” The three-day event will feature sessions on marketing for small businesses, food safety, soil health, Farm to School, season extension strategies, and improving community food access.
Attendees will include farmers, ranchers, food entrepreneurs, educators, nonprofits, and community leaders, providing valuable networking opportunities. The first 25 first-time North Dakota attendees will have their conference fees reimbursed.
