A 42-year-old Grand Forks woman is facing multiple charges after a multi-county chase on Highway 2 Monday afternoon.

The Highway Patrol says a trooper spotted a Chrysler Sebring near mile marker 330 in Grand Forks County. The car drifted across the fog line and had only one working mirror. When the officer tried to pull it over, the driver took off westbound.

The pursuit stretched through Nelson and Ramsey counties. Spike strips slowed the car, and near Devils Lake officers boxed it in and used a PIT maneuver to end the chase.

The driver was arrested and taken to the Grand Forks Correctional Center. She faces felony charges of fleeing and reckless endangerment, along with driving under suspension. The case remains under investigation.
