As the playoffs begin to loom, another Class A poll has been announced in the state of North Dakota high school football. Not much of a change after all teams in the Top 5 got a win last Friday night, and expect the Poll to stay the same after this week too.
The Class A Poll goes as shown:
- Langdon Area/ Munich (-)
- Killdeer (-)
- Velva-Garrison/Drake-Anamoose (-)
- Park River Area (-)
- Ellendale/Edgeley-Kulm (-)
Also receiving votes in the poll was Bottineau, and Dickinson Trinity.
All teams in the Top 5 have rather favorable matchups in Week 6, so as said before, expect the same thing next week unless there was a massive upset. 5-1 Bottineau will have a chance to gain some eyes on them as they play host to a 5-1 Des Lacs Burlington. However, next week could be a different story, for some teams we will have a *assumed Top 5 matchup between Langdon and Park River, and Killdeer will have a good test at home versus Southern McLean. Much like a lot of the other classifications, its a pretty meh week in Class A, but expect next week to be a little bit better when it comes to matchups and possible upsets.
