A former National Park Service leader will visit North Dakota next week for a series of conservation talks and film screenings.
Walt Dabney, who served in parks including Yellowstone and Yosemite, will appear October 14th in Dickinson, October 15th in Bismarck, and October 16th in Grand Forks. Each event begins at 6:30 p.m. and features a film followed by audience discussion.
The Badlands Conservation Alliance and other groups are sponsoring the tour, highlighting public lands and Theodore Roosevelt’s conservation legacy.
