A woman from Oriska suffered serious injuries Sunday afternoon when her vehicle left the road north of Tower City. The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports 57-year-old Debra Baasch was driving a pickup truck towing a trailer on Cass County Highway 11 when she failed to navigate a curve. Her vehicle and trailer crossed the median before stopping in a field. Baasch, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported by ambulance to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo for treatment. The Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Barnes and Cass County Sheriff’s Offices, Tower City Fire Department, Page Ambulance Service, and Barnes County Ambulance.
