North Dakota State University has launched the Peltier Institute for Advancement in Agricultural Technology, a new initiative aimed at shaping future leaders in agriculture through education, research, and innovation.

The Institute is named in honor of Joe and Norma Peltier, whose generosity made the program possible, which will fund scholarships, develop interdisciplinary programs, and expand opportunities for research and outreach in agricultural technology.

The institute also introduced its first group of ten Peltier Scholars, students who will gain hands-on experience in ag technology and innovation. By equipping students with modern tools and leadership, the Peltier Institute strengthens NDSU’s agricultural education programs and ensures continued progress for farmers, communities, and global food systems.
