Reid Perry took to Instagram on Monday (October 13) to announce that he has decided to leave The Band Perry in order to shift his focus to artist management. “To the fans, you’ve always been my favorite part of this. I’ve decided to leave TBP. I’ll be missing seeing you in the crowd at a Band Perry show but I’ll be around,” he wrote in the caption. Reid also revealed that he will be managing rising country singer and The Voice alum Ryan Coleman, described him as “a new voice I believe in more than anything.” Reid’s departure leaves his sister, Kimberly, as the only remaining original member of the group, after her husband, Johnny Costello, replaced their brother Neil earlier this year. The Band Perry rose to fame with their 2010 hit, “If I Die Young,” earning the group ACMs, CMAs, and CMT Awards, and they also won the 2015 Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Gentle On My Mind.” (People)
