Consumer development grants have been issued to multiple towns across eastern North Dakota.

The North Dakota Department of Commerce has confirmed that Cleveland, Tappen, and Tuttle were awarded nearly $1.1 million in Community Development Block Grant funds this cycle.

Cleveland secured $171,000,  Tappen was awarded $160,000, and Tuttle will receive $755,000.  The funds will be used for various infrastructure projects in those towns.

Officials at the Commerce Department say these investments aim to enhance safety, reliability, and quality of life for low-to-moderate income residents in those towns.
