Warmer Weekend Weather Expected in Jamestown; Freeze Possible Early Weds

By Seth Dunlap Oct 22, 2025 | 7:49 AM

A warm, sunny weekend is shaping up for Jamestown and Stutsman County.

The National Weather Service reports a brief cooldown this week before temperatures rise into the upper 50s and low 60s by Saturday and Sunday, with highs near 64 or 65 on tap.  That’s notably above the October average high of about 56 degrees for the area.

Lows are expected to reach 29 degrees in Jamestown tonight, so a freeze frost is possible early, but the cold snap won’t stick long.

Conditions should be quieter and more pleasant later this week for perhaps another weekend outdoors before the true colder weather heads our way.
