Farm and Ag Week events continues/continued today in Jamestown, where kids are getting a hands-on lesson in where their food comes.
The NDSU Extension office in Stutsman County is hosting another round of its Nibble and Crunch Mini-Camps today in Jamestown.
This afternoon’s sessions invite children to explore North Dakota’s apple industry, make apple-slice “donuts,” and enjoy grilled-cheese snacks featuring local ingredients.
The program is part of Farm and Ag Week, which highlights the connection between North Dakota farms and the foods families eat every day.
Extension educators say the goal is to help children understand the value of local agriculture in a fun and interactive way.
