SDSU Extension to Host “Swine Day”

South Dakota State University Extension will host its annual Swine Day on November 4, 2025, at Club 71 in Brookings, South Dakota.

The free event offers a full schedule of presentations, panel discussions, and student research posters. Highlights include a keynote address by Glenn Muller, Executive Director of the South Dakota Pork Producers Council, and talks from other industry experts, who will share updates on the swine industry. And attendees are asked to register online through the SDSU Extension Events page.

Throughout the day, SDSU faculty will present ongoing swine nutrition and research findings and The day will conclude with an undergraduate panel sharing insights on internships and career opportunities in pork production. Swine Day offers producers, professionals, and students an excellent chance to learn, network, and stay informed on the latest developments in the industry.
