Jamestown Police are investigating after a construction crew exhumed what appears to be fetal remains Tuesday afternoon in southeast Jamestown, according to Captain Sid Mann of JPD.
The crew reported the find to Stutsman County Dispatch at approximately 2:49 p.m. while working on a project in southeast Jamestown. Officers responding to the scene found what is believed to be intact fetal remains along with broken pieces of an amber brown glass container.
The Stutsman County Coroner examined the remains, which are being sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation.
