Jamestown Police are investigating after a handgun was fired from inside a hotel room through a window into the parking lot Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Officers responding to reports of bullet holes in a hotel room window in southwest Jamestown found spent handgun casings inside the room. Working with the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office, Narcotics Task Force, and North Dakota Parole and Probation, police have located persons of interest, according to a press release from Captain Sidney Mann.
Authorities say the incident appears isolated to a group of known individuals, and there is no danger to the public.
