It’s been a week and the Minnesota Timberwolves’ top dog Anthony Edwards is chomping at the bit to get back on the NBA Court.

After the Wolves’ loss to the Indiana Pacers on October 26th, Edwards was diagnosed with a right hamstring injury that would keep him out 2 weeks, with an evaluation after one week of rest.

Today it was announced that Edwards has been cleared to return to “contact basketball activities” meaning he can practice again and soon return to the starting lineup.

Per the teams release, Edwards will remain out for the teams upcoming game at the New York Knicks while he prepares for his return from injury.

The Wolves have tried to keep the ship afloat with Edwards’ absence going 2-2 without the 24 year old shooting guard, the Wolves will play the New York Knicks on Wednesday night, and will look to see if Edwards is available for Friday’s game for a return on the home court against the Utah Jazz.
