Derrick Lobbo, Cass County Jail
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 21-year-old Derrick Lobbo following a fatal shooting in Horace this morning.
Deputies responded to 7994 Jacks Way shortly before 8 a.m. for a disturbance call. A woman was found with an apparent gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene despite lifesaving efforts. Her name has not been released.
Lobbo has been transported to Cass County Jail, with additional charges potentially forthcoming. The investigation involves the Sheriff’s Office, Coroner’s Office, State’s Attorney’s Office, and North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
A news conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Cass County Courthouse to provide further updates on the ongoing investigation.
