Midco has completed construction of its fiber network in Jamestown, bringing high-speed internet, TV and phone services to every home and business in the city.
The project installed 108 miles of fiber optic cable, passing 9,600 homes and businesses. Midco celebrated the milestone Wednesday with a ribbon cutting attended by local business leaders and the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce.
Mayor Dwaine Heinrich praised Midco’s investment in the community. The company has also partnered with local organizations, including Jamestown Parks and Recreation for Kite Fest and the Red Cross for storm recovery efforts.
