North Dakota State University Extension will host a virtual income tax management program for agricultural producers and tax preparers on December 1 from 1–4 p.m. The session is moderated by NDSU Extension farm management specialists, and will cover key year-end tax updates, reporting rules, and planning strategies to help farmers make informed financial decisions before closing out the year.
Experts from the IRS, Ag Country Farm Credit Services, University of Minnesota Extension, and Oklahoma State University Extension will provide guidance tailored to farm operations.
Topics include federal tax changes, depreciation, qualified business income, lease and easement reporting, like-kind exchanges, disaster reporting, retirement planning, identity theft, and general tax planning. Registration costs $25, is required by November 25, and can be completed at ndsu.ag/income tax.
