A regional startup pitch competition is inviting business ideas from across the Jamestown area, with a December deadline approaching.
The Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center is hosting this year’s virtual Startup Business Pitch Competition, with entries being accepted through Friday, Dec. 5.
Organizers are looking for early-stage, pre-revenue business ideas from entrepreneurs living in a nine-county region, including Stutsman, Barnes, LaMoure, Logan, Dickey and neighboring counties.
Finalists will present their concepts for approximately ten minutes in front a three-person judging panel.
Judges will award cash prizes of $250, $200 and $100 for the top three entries, with feedback aimed at helping founders sharpen their business models rather than just sell a product.
Presentations can be emailed to Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center before deadline on Dec. 5.
