The North Dakota Highway Patrol shared that a pickup truck hauling a trailer struck a snow plow west of Casselton on Tuesday afternoon at around 2:19 p.m. The truck lost control due to icy conditions, swerving to avoid a semi that had moved over for the snow plow on the side of the road. The driver failed to maneuver, crashing into the plow. (Video below)

• I-94 from Valley City to Fargo
• I-29 from Grand Forks to the South Dakota line
These closures are due to ice-covered roads, multiple crashes, vehicles sliding into the ditch, and high-profile/empty-load commercial vehicles losing control.
High-profile vehicles and CMVs with empty loads should NOT travel until tomorrow (11/26/2025).Traveling on closed roadways is illegal. You can be fined and emergency responders may not be able to reach you if you get stuck or crash.
