Snow accumulating in Jamestown on November 25, 2025
A winter storm is moving through North Dakota, with heavy snow impacts causing hazardous driving conditions across the region.
The National Weather Service reports 4-8 inches of snow accumulation in the northwestern part of the state, with no travel advisories listed for all roads in the area.
Heavy snow and high wind speeds have shifted into the I-94 corridor between Bismark and Fargo, causing very hazardous driving conditions and drifting snow in spots.
Jamestown’s early morning rain-snow mix has frozen as the temperatures dropped, causing compacted ice and hazard alerts from the Department of Transportation on all major roads in the area this morning. Drivers are urged to stay off the roads if possible, and take extreme precautions when on the road.
The snow is expected to continue through the afternoon in Jamestown and eastern North Dakota with accumulations between 4-6 inches expected in Stutsman County, with higher isolated totals.
