The National Weather Service of Grand Forks warns gusty north winds and patchy blowing snow could reduce visibility late this evening and overnight, especially in the southern Red River Valley.
An active weather pattern will bring snow chances here and there, breezy conditions, and large temperature swings through the rest of the week. The Bismarck NWS office predicts 10 to 40 percent chances for light snow showers southwest.
Very cold temperatures arrive tonight through Wednesday morning and again Wednesday night into Thursday morning, with wind chills potentially dropping to the mid -20s below zero. Below average temperatures continue through the rest of the week with snow chances from Thursday into the weekend.
