North Dakota Game and Fish is seeking information about a whitetail buck found dead southeast of Bismarck–after the close of deer gun season.
A landowner discovered the deer in a ditch on Lincoln Road near 249th Street Southeast on the morning of November 30th, according to the release. Game wardens determined the buck was shot and likely killed the evening of November 29th or early morning November 30th–a week after deer gun season closed November 23rd.
Evidence indicates the deer was shot elsewhere and was dumped at the Lincoln Road site. Game and Fish is encouraging anyone with information to call the Report All Poachers line at 701-328-9921. The RAP line offers rewards for information leading to conviction, and callers can remain anonymous.
