Jamestown’s Curbside Cleanup Week Set for May 11-16

By Seth Dunlap Apr 8, 2026 | 6:11 AM

Jamestown has set Residential Curbside Cleanup Week for May 11 through 16.

It’s the city’s annual large-item cleanup, giving residents a chance to set accepted materials near the curb or shoulder for pickup based on which section of town they live in. This is separate from regular garbage service, so residents need to follow the cleanup-week schedule and have items out by 7 a.m. on their assigned day.

The schedule starts with southeast Jamestown on May 11, followed by southwest May 12, northwest May 13 and northeast May 14.

During cleanup week, the city baler-landfill will also offer extended hours, and each household can dispose of up to 500 pounds at no charge with proof of residency.
