Without a panic, Wilton-Wing guard Dontaye Fetzer finished a fast break with a layup and just a half second of time left on the fourth quarter game clock, sealing the Miners 66-64 road win over Glen Ullin/Hebron on Saturday afternoon.
The layup was created by Fetzer’s steal with just 10 seconds left in the game. The winning steal by Fetzer gave the Miners 5-foot-10 guard nine points for the contest. Wilton-Wing was led by junior guard Teigen Earsley, who dropped a team high 24 points.
No. 1 Wilton-Wing (11-0) will play at Garrison next Friday at 7:30 p.m. Glen Ullin/Hebron (9-2) will try to break a two game losing streak at South Heart on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
