Study concludes that U.S. Highway 83 is scariest road in North Dakota

Gunther VW Daytona conducted a study of more than 3,000 drivers identifying America’s most feared winter roads. U.S. Highway 83 ranks as number 80 on the list, making it the most feared road to drive in the winter.

U.S. Highway 2, which runs from the Montana border to Minnesota, ranks 81. The eastern Interstate 29 ranks at 110. On the western side of North Dakota, U.S. Highway 85 was at 137.

Interstate 94 finished as the 158th most feared road to drive on, a road that runs east to west across North Dakota.
