Grand Forks Police have determined through their investigation that a 16-year-old boy stabbed his adult-aged sister in the stomach during an argument on Sunday.
The police were called to the 800 block of Duke Dr. The injured woman was taken to a local hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Police say the boy fled the scene on foot but was taken into custody shortly after. The boy was taken to Juvenile Detention and is facing an attempted murder charge.
