As first reported by the Jamestown Sun, Two major events are set to bring thousands to Jamestown on March 15: the 46th annual Runnin O’ the Green pub crawl and the Legends of Rock Concert. The pub crawl, which raised over $500,000 since 2008 for cancer patients and Elks Camp Grassick, begins during the day. The evening concert at the Civic Center will feature former lead singers from Journey, Kansas, Santana, and other bands to benefit St. John’s Academy. Last year’s concert drew over 2,200 attendees, and organizers expect both events to fill local hotels and businesses. Tickets for the concert start at $40, with VIP packages available for $250.
