On Tuesday (February 18), it was announced that the 60th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will take place on May 8 at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Reba McEntire will once again host the event, marking the 18th time that the country superstar has hosted or co-hosted the awards show. “This year’s ACM Awards is a celebration sixty years in the making, and we plan to make it one of the biggest and best shows yet!” said ACM CEO Damon Whiteside. “With Reba at the helm as our host, we’ll be commemorating the legends of Country Music while honoring the biggest and brightest stars of today.” The ACM Awards will stream exclusively on Prime Video, and fans can purchase tickets to the event beginning at 11 a.m. ET on February 21. Nominees, performances, and presenters will be announced soon, for what promises to be a star-studded event honoring sixty years of Country Music history. (Audacy)
