The Girls State B Tournament is coming to the Jamestown this week, and the field has been set.
Action begins Thursday, March 6 at the Civic Center, with #2 Kenmare/Bowbells taking on seventh seeded Grant County/Mott-Regent at 1:00 p.m. That will be followed by #3 Central McLean against #6 Landgon Area-Munich at 2:45 p.m.
The first evening matchup features top-seeded Lewis & Clark-Berthold facing Linton/HMB at 6:30 pm. The nightcap has #4 Benson County taking on #5 LaMoure-Litchville/Marion.
Defending champion May/Port-C-G and last year’s runner-up Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier were eliminated in the regionals, and none of last year’s semifinalists will return. A new champion will be crowned on Saturday night.
KSJB Radio will have wall-to-wall coverage of the State B Girls Basketball Tournament beginning at 12:40 p.m on Thursday.
