North Dakota State baseball took down Northern Colorado in Game 1 of their three-game series, 11-3.
NDSU’s Jake Schaffner and Davis Hamilton both had three hits for the Bison. Designated hitter Blake Timmons hit a home run, and Nolan Johnson threw six innings for a win, allowing just one run on seven hits.
The Bison continues the series Friday at 6:30 p.m.
