A Jamestown resident is dead after a weekend crash in Benson County.
The North Dakota Highway Patrols confirms that a 67-year-old Rita Kubat died after crashing into Stink Lake near Highway 2. The NDHP says Kubat’s vehicle, a Toyota Camry, entered the ditch and rolled over, eventually coming to a rest in the lake. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle and her body were found Saturday, July 26.
State investigators are trying to determine the cause and exact timing of the incident.
