North Dakota’s Tourism Department is teaming up with a famous country music act, hoping to attract visitors to the state.

Tigerlilly Gold, featuring Krista Slaubaugh and her sister Kendra from Hazen, debuted their new song, “Call It Home”, co-written by the Tourism Department.

The song features the lyric “proud to call it home”, a reference to the duo’s frequent unabashed references to their roots and love of their home state.

The partnership between Tigerlilly Gold and North Dakota Tourism runs through January of 2027, and is an agreement worth $100,000, according to the North Dakota Monitor.

The band won New Duo or Group of the Year at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards, and were nominated in the same category and in the Breakthrough Female Video category at last year’s CMT awards.
