Morgan Wallen was fined $15,705 after his concert on Friday night (August 22) at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, exceeded the city’s strict 11:30 p.m. curfew. The country superstar began his final song at 11:44 p.m., breaking curfew by over 15 minutes, with the total fine amounting to 25 cents per attendee. A Foxborough spokesperson released the following statement regarding the incident: “The Morgan Wallen concert on Friday night is being fined for exceeding the curfew and his team is aware of this.” The show, which took place at the home stadium of the New England Patriots, featured surprise guests like former Patriots player Rob Gronkowski and their head coach, Mike Vrabel. Wallen’s curfew violation wasn’t the largest fine at Gillette, as Bruce Springsteen was fined more than $22,000 in 2016 for a similar breach. Wallen remains on tour supporting his No. 1 album, I’m the Problem, with upcoming Canadian dates in Toronto and Edmonton at the start of September. (Billboard)
