Valley City State University officials are hoping a new national spotlight will help continue the school’s streak of record-breaking enrollment.
VCSU is the first North Dakota campus featured on “The College Tour,” a streaming series that highlights university life through student stories, according to Jeff Beach from the North Dakota Monitor. The 27-minute episode is currently available on the university’s website and will begin streaming on Amazon Prime on June 2nd.
The university invested $92,000 in marketing funds for the production, viewing it as a strategic tool to reach students in distant states like Alaska and Florida who may not be able to visit in person before moving in.
The project comes as VCSU reports its third consecutive year of record fall enrollment, with 1,827 students currently on campus.
