A High Wind Advisory has been issued for Jamestown and Stutsman County lasting until 10:00 p.m. tonight.
The National Weather Service issued alerts for wind gusts of above 50 miles an hour in some areas of the James River Valley, with areas to the west of Stutsman County also in the alert zone, including Kidder, Wells, Foster, and Logan counties.
The rest of the week remains mostly sunny and cold, but the wind should become more calm as temperatures hover between 10 degrees above and below zero.
There are no forecasts for significant amounts of show in Jamestown until Saturday, when a warmer system will enter the Dakotas brining increased chances of precipitation in early February.
