Road construction will affect a main street in Jamestown next week.
The City Engineer’s Office says Highway 281 will be down to one lane on the south side of the Interstate 94 bridge on Friday, February 6 for unspecified work. The three block restriction are expected to back up traffic on one of the busiest routes through Jamestown throughout the day.
Motorists and truckers are advised to plan alternate routes next Friday. The work is expected to be completed the same day, but will continue until completion according to the Engineer’s Office.
