Masaki Ova of the Jamestown Sun reports that the Buffalo City’s northeast corridor is preparing for a major residential expansion after the Jamestown Planning Commission unanimously approved a plan for the Ski Son Development during a special session this week.

The 80-acre subdivision project will be named Buffalo Estates, designed to meet a growing demand for housing. City officials say that the lack of developable lots has been a primary barrier to economic growth in the region.
